At our company, we often find ourselves immersed in discussions about work, community involvement, and the contributions of our dedicated team members. However, one of our proudest achievements is our Dream Manager program, a transformative initiative that truly puts people first.

Recently, we had the immense joy of celebrating the accomplishments of two remarkable employees: Patricia Lorca and Jema Alcott. Both have achieved the incredible milestone of obtaining their U.S. Citizenship—a dream that reflects their hard work, determination, and the support of our Dream Manager, Courtney Rooney.

Patricia’s journey began when she moved to the United States from Trujillo, Honduras, in December 2018. With a clear goal in mind, she dedicated herself to the process of acquiring her citizenship. As of September 17, 2024, Patricia is now officially a U.S. citizen!

Jema, who relocated from Manila, Philippines, in November 2017, also reached this significant milestone, officially becoming a U.S. citizen on September 21, 2023.

Together, Patricia and Jema have faced numerous challenges on their paths to citizenship. From studying with a newborn to navigating an endless sea of paperwork, their perseverance has truly paid off. With their dreams now realized, both women are already setting their sights on the future. Jema aims to advance within the KLN Family, while Patricia plans to pursue her Master’s degree to prepare for future roles in the company.

We are incredibly proud to have such dedicated and driven employees. Patricia and Jema are not just focused on their success; they are eager to support others in our company and community as they pursue their own goals of citizenship.

Patricia expressed her gratitude, saying, “I want to thank the KLN employees for being so supportive of me and for congratulating me when I got my citizenship. It meant a lot to have so much support, and I especially want to thank Courtney Rooney for supporting me every step of the way.”

Jema also shared her appreciation: “My husband Kyle is my biggest supporter, and my kids have been my biggest motivators. I am thankful to Miss Courtney for being so helpful throughout the process.”

As we celebrate Patricia and Jema’s achievements, we are reminded of the importance of community, support, and the relentless pursuit of dreams. We can’t wait to see what the future holds for these inspiring individuals!
