NutriSource recently helped sponsor two special events at Boston Children’s Hospital, bringing much-needed moments of fun to patients, families, and clinical staff.
At the Dog Days of Summer event, more than 200 attendees enjoyed crafts, games, slushies, and other activities. The fun continued with a s’mores-themed event, where more than 120 patients and family members made bracelets, colored, completed foam crafts, and received s’mores kits, themed squishies, and Sweet Chaos S’mores Popcorn.
For patients who couldn’t leave their rooms, Child Life Specialists delivered treats and activities directly to their bedsides so they could still be included.
