Throwback to our Facility Dog Event at M Health Fairview Masonic Children's Hospital. Here is one of our facility dogs, Fern, with her handler Phylicia. We held a lobby event for patients and families where we provided treats, activities, and on-site pets and cuddles with our facility dog team. Special events like these are the ones we love to celebrate and are extremely thankful to have the opportunity to put on.

This award honors someone who embodies the very best of community service, spirit, caring, hard work, integrity, and longevity, and DJ exemplifies every one of those values.

DJ’s love for the Perham community runs deep. All her life, she’s seen people show up for one another in moments of need and celebration, and she’s made it her mission to do the same, especially for kids. From Relay for Life and Purple Squad to coaching, BIO Girls, The HIVE, Get Socials, and more, DJ gives her time and heart wherever it’s needed.

Her favorite part? Seeing her own kids follow her lead and want to serve others too. Because DJ knows that even the simplest act of kindness can brighten someone’s day.

She doesn’t do any of this for recognition, she does it for how it makes others feel. And that’s exactly why this honor is so well deserved.
